Plaid in the park

Since I work full time and have to wear business casual 5 days out of 7, 40+ hours a week, I often like to wear very casual outfits during the week unless I have some place special to attend.  Such outfits are usually void of many accessories, maybe just a scarf or a cute pair of earrings.  This fall hasn't been as cold so far and many days I can get away with just wearing a long sleeve shirt and boots.

I love the length of this shirt in proportion to the width!  Not boxy :)  Many plaid shirts I have found look great on the hanger: the color, the fabric, the way it hangs.  Then, I try it on and I feel like my torso looks like a large unattractive square.  I had been looking for a while when I finally found this one at Jcrew!  It is super soft and comfy. 

The temperature is supposed to drop this week so I am thrilled with the possibility of being able to break out the layers :)

Chambray and Leopard

Outfits I like to put together can be anything from everyday casual to night out with the girls. I thought the first outfit I would put together would incorporate two of my favorite pieces right now- the chambray shirt and leopard print scarf.  These two versatile pieces I find myself going back to over and over again!

These H&M boots were a great purchase! I am always finding new outfits to wear them with :)
